Upcoming Events
Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at 7 pm - Regular meeting with election of officers for 2026.
Rob Romero will talk about the the
Jarilla Mtns of southern New Mexico
and it's incredible Echinocereus hybrids that occur naturally.
The Jarilla Mountains are an isolated small range between the Organ and
Sacramento Mountains. They are home to 5 species of Echinocereus along
with several other cacti and succulents. The high density of the
Echinocereus species promote widespread hybridization and create a
rainbow of flower colors.
We plan on broadcasting this meeting on
Zoom.
Note: The gate to the parking lot on the East side of the
Albuquerque Garden Center building will be locked. It
requires a 4 digit code to open. Members receive the gate
code (which has not changed in years) in the email meeting
announcement. Visitors are welcome to follow a member in.
Saturday, December 13, 2025 at 5 pm - Holiday Party! We set up at 5
pm and have a potluck dinner starting at 6 pm. The club provides
meat - turkey, ham, and BBQ beef. The members bring in
things to share (salads, casseroles, breads, soups, desserts,
candy,...). After dinner and cleanup, we have short (5 minute)
programs by members! It will not be broadcast on Zoom.
Saturday and Sunday, April 11 and 12, 2026 -
